The sooner you buy tickets, the bigger each event can be.
We aren’t a fixed venue and marquees, tarps, fences etc don’t move with magic, the more time we have to prepare, the bigger we can be, so please buy as soon as events go online.
The venue is a farmhouse on the outskirts of Swansea… downstairs we have the bar and main room, with additional areas created in the gardens using marquees and natural features.
You’ll find sofas and bean bags to chill out on and we serve ice lollies, pizza, burgers, sweets and a variety of other things for sale to make you have the best time possible.
We start the event pretty chilled and build up as the day goes on. Coaches and minibuses will take you to and from the venue and our friendly security staff are there to help if you need anything.
The concept for Bass In The Woods came about when 12 mates, decided to collectively figure out what we would like out of an all day party, whilst having an all day party… notes were scribbled… and a few days later, Bass In The Woods was born.
The first event saw us sell 80 tickets, but only 30 people turn up, it made us a little nervous not quite knowing if people enjoyed themselves, but the feedback was overwhelmingly positive and we knew we were creating something special. It didn’t take long before every event started selling out, people arrived earlier, we added more stages, more marquees and the volunteering team kept on growing. Our larger events have seen hundreds of people still asking for tickets when we’ve already sold out.
Swansea University DJ Society have been with us since we formed and have helped us create the best events by introducing us to fresh, new talents across all genres.
